For the next person joining your practice

New clinician portraits that belong with your team

A new colleague can have a portrait they feel comfortable using. We help it sit alongside the portraits already on your practice website.

Let’s talk about your portraits

Begin with the team page you have

Send us the current page and the original photographs if you have them. We look at the background, light and framing before suggesting how to make the new portrait.

The existing pictures can come from another photographer. We will talk through what can be repeated and what may look a little different.

Keep the look connected

In a team grid, small choices make a difference: the size of the face, where the shoulders sit and the color behind the person. We use the existing set as a reference for those decisions.

The new clinician can still bring their own expression to the photograph. A connected set leaves room for the person joining it.

  • Background color and texture
  • The direction and softness of the light
  • Head size, eye position and the crop
  • Color or black-and-white treatment

Give the new person their own session

We guide them through posture and expression, just as we would in an individual portrait session. They can let us know what feels familiar and what they would like help with.

One person can have a session of their own. If several colleagues are joining, we can discuss photographing them together at the practice.

Consider a session at the practice

Choose a photograph together

We agree how the clinician will review the pictures and how your practice contact will check the choice beside the current set.

Share the team-card and biography-page layouts so we can prepare the agreed crops. Include any website launch date when we talk about timing.

Find the right place for the new portrait

If the whole set is ready for a change

Sometimes a new colleague arrives just as the website is changing. We can talk through a single addition and a fresh practice set so you can decide what fits.

We keep the photographic choices from our sessions as a reference for later work. Let us know when another portrait is needed.

Before we meet.

A few things you might be wondering before we meet.

Can you work with pictures made by another photographer?

Yes, we can review them and suggest an approach. Original image files are helpful alongside the current website. We discuss how closely the background, light and crop can be reproduced.

Will the portrait be an exact match?

The references and available setup determine what we can match. We will explain the choices and any likely differences before you confirm the session.

Do we need to photograph the whole team again?

A single new portrait may be enough. We look at your existing set first and help you decide between an addition and a wider refresh.

Can the clinician choose their photograph?

We can include their choice in the review process. Your practice contact then checks the portrait with the team page and confirms the final files.

Can they use it on their own professional profile?

Tell us the profiles they would like to use. We agree image usage and the files they need alongside the practice website portraits.

Can we come back when someone else joins?

Yes. Send us the updated team page when you need another portrait. Each addition or small group session is arranged and quoted around the people and photographs needed.
