For psychologists and therapists in New York City

Therapist headshots.
Room to be yourself.

A portrait that feels like you, with a little help along the way. We photograph NYC therapists, psychologists and counselors with thoughtful direction and room to settle in.

Let’s talk about your portraits

For you, your colleagues and the practice you’re building.

A few faces. A little of their world.

A moment for you

You can settle in.
We’ll help with the rest.

Being in front of a camera can feel unfamiliar. We’ll talk first, find a place you feel comfortable and guide you through the little things: where to look, how to stand, what to do with your hands.

Your portrait might be the first hello on your website or Psychology Today profile. We’ll make photographs you feel comfortable putting there, with room to choose the expression and setting that feel like you.

For a practice of your own

People first.
Portraits to match.

You may be opening your own practice, bringing your team together or welcoming someone new. Tell us where you are. We’ll find a thoughtful way to photograph it.

The people in your practice.

Portraits that sit comfortably together and still leave room for each person’s character.

Photograph your team

Someone new to welcome.

Give a new colleague a portrait that feels at home alongside the rest of your team.

Welcome a new clinician

A little more of your story.

A quiet moment by the window, a favorite corner of your office, a portrait with room to breathe. Photographs for the website you have in mind.

In a place you know

Your own space.
A little new light.

There may be a spot in your practice that already feels right: a chair by the window, a quiet wall, the corner where you like to read. We’ll look at the light and help you choose a setting that works.

We can bring the session to your NYC office. A few photographs of the room and a conversation about your day help us plan around you and your colleagues.

Getting to know you

A conversation.
Then a little camera time.

What your session feels like
  1. Tell us what you have in mind.

A new profile picture, a whole team, a website coming together. We’ll listen and work out what you need.

  2. Find a look you feel good about.

Bring a few references or let us help you choose. We’ll talk through the setting, clothing and photographs you’d like to take home.

  3. Give yourself room to settle in.

We’ll guide you as we photograph, with small adjustments and a chance to see how the portraits are coming together.

  4. Choose the photographs that feel right.

Your favorites become the finished set, prepared for the places you want to use them.

Before we meet.

A few things you might be wondering before we meet.

I feel awkward in photographs. Can you help?

You can tell us that before the session. We will guide you through posture and expression with small, clear suggestions. You can ask questions, try another position and let us know what feels comfortable.

Can I book a portrait just for myself?

Yes. We photograph individual therapists, psychologists and counselors as well as practice teams. Tell us where you want to use your portrait and we will plan around that.

Can you come to our practice?

We can plan a session at your NYC office. A few room photographs, the address and your team’s availability help us choose the setup and arrange the day.

How much will the session cost?

We quote each project around the people, location and photographs you need. The quote covers the session, selected images, editing and agreed uses before you confirm.

Can I use the photographs on my website and Psychology Today?

Tell us which pages and profiles you use. We plan the framing and agree the image files and usage for those destinations. Your website designer can be part of that conversation.

Can a new portrait sit beside our existing photographs?

Send us the team page and original photographs if you have them. We will look at what can be matched and discuss any differences before you decide on a session.
