A fuller picture of the person behind the work

Therapist branding photography for your website

Your website has room for more than a profile photograph. We make close headshots and wider portraits that show you in a setting you have chosen.

Let’s talk about your portraits

Start with how you want to be seen

You may picture a simple portrait, a seated photograph in your office or something with a little more movement. Bring the ideas you are drawn to, even if you are still deciding.

We talk through the expression, clothing and setting together. Personal direction helps those choices become photographs you can imagine using on your pages.

Begin with a therapist headshot

Give each photograph a place

A close headshot can introduce you on a directory profile or team page. Share the profile crop or your designer’s team-card layout so we can leave the right amount of room around your face.

A seated portrait can bring a little of your office into a biography page. A wider photograph gives you space for your hands, your surroundings and any text beside the image. Your designer’s desktop and mobile layouts help us plan that space.

Choose the photographs your pages need. We will talk through the setting and agree the finished selection with you.

Make the setting part of the conversation

The chair you choose, the light in the room and the space around you can all change the feel of a portrait. We decide what to include while keeping the person at the center.

If you would like to photograph at your practice, send us a few room pictures. We can explore the background before the session.

Use your practice as the setting

Bring your designer into the picture

A designer can show us where a photograph will sit and where text needs space. The same picture may have a wider crop on a desktop and a closer one on a phone.

Share those layouts early. We plan the compositions and agree the files for your website and professional profiles before photography.

Let the photographs grow with your practice

For a team website, we agree a look that brings individual portraits together. A wider portrait can give each biography page its own space.

When someone new joins, the photographs already in use give us a starting point for their session.

Add a portrait when your team grows

Before we meet.

A few things you might be wondering before we meet.

How is this different from a headshot session?

A headshot focuses on a close portrait. A branding session can also include seated or standing photographs with more of your setting, planned around the website pages you want to fill.

Do I need a finished website design?

A draft layout or a few clear ideas are enough to start. Tell us what is decided and what is still open. We can work with your designer on the places the photographs need to fit.

Can I have a simple background and office portraits?

We can discuss both. Each setup needs a place in the session, so we agree the backgrounds and photographs with you beforehand.

Do you photograph the rooms as well?

This service centers on portraits of people. If you also need photographs of the rooms, mention them when you get in touch so we can discuss that separately.

Can you work directly with our website designer?

Your designer can share layouts, crop references and file requirements. We use those details to plan the photographs and the handoff.

Can these photographs work on professional profiles?

Include the profiles you use in the conversation. We plan close portraits alongside the wider website photographs and agree their usage and files with you.
